Broder Metals Group are proud to announce that we are now fully approved as a supplier to Leonardo Helicopters supporting their global material requirements.  Having held ISO 9001 since 2005, and then being approved to AS9120 in 2019, this end-user approval is a fantastic endorsement of our systems and in particular, our staff’s commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards with the ability to trade in a highly regulated industry.

To be associated with an organisation with such a long history of iconic civil and military helicopter platforms is a major step in the history of Broder Metals Group. As an independently owned UK SME, we look forward to supporting Leonardo’s future projects and their day-to-day legacy aircraft requirements.

Mark Burton, our Managing Director’s view on the news of this achievement:

“Obviously we are delighted with this endorsement of our company and services.  We have built a first-class worldwide reputation for our knowledge, reliability and service to the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical and Motorsport industries, and this approval enables us to support our new Aerospace and Defence customers, such as Leonardo Helicopters, with the same ethos and our existing high levels of service.”

“Broder Metal’s vast experience in high strength and corrosion resistant steels and alloys complements Broder Aerospace’s product offering in Ground Support Equipment, Industrial Hoses, Advanced On-board Power Solutions, LED Defence Illumination products and last, but not least, our valuable Procurement Support Service (which helps to reduce the stress in sourcing those ‘Hard to Find’ materials across our range of capabilities and scope)”.
