JBP, part of the Bianco Group of companies, has invested in a new range of valves, specifically aimed at the Food and Beverage industry. This investment is part of a growth initiative that features within the company’s ongoing expansion plans.

JBP have partnered with Hygienic valve manufacturer Inoxpa, a well-established and recognised brand, the range has been selected to provide customers with quick access to the most popular products in use today. The Inoxpa range of valves are all manufactured in conformance with FDA standards and comprises Butterfly, Ball, Check and Overflow Valves. Butterfly and Ball valves can be supplied with levers or actuators and control units, all from the JBP stockholding facility in Inverurie.

To complement the range and to service existing equipment, a range of spares kits for Butterfly valves are kept in EPDM, VMQ or FPM materials.

Inoxpa valves are stocked in sizes from 1” to 3” with accessories to suit.

JBP have also partnered with valve manufacturer Emerson, again a very well recognised brand, widely used in the food and beverage industry. Their Keystone Figure 990 valve is one of the most widely used butterfly valves in the distilling and beverage industries.

The range is stocked in sizes 1” to 12”, including valves with either EDPM or PTFE seats. The valves are a cast iron body construction, with a stainless steel disc and stem, and are wafer fit to suit a variety of flange drillings. A range of operators are stocked to suit and accessories are also available.

The stock was chosen to complement the existing products carried by JBP, including Bray Valves, Teekay and Victaulic Couplings, servicing multiple industries across Scotland.

JBP Sales Director, Steve McGourlay, said: “We saw a gap in the market for a reliable provider of these products. We decided to strengthen our offering and add value to our existing service.”

In addition to buying the new stock, the JBP team has undergone training, bringing additional knowledge and expertise, with the aim of maintaining the existing high levels of service and reliability.

JBP Managing Director, Willie Moir, commented: “We are excited for the new opportunities these products bring to the business and look forward to inviting and welcoming customers, old and new, to Inverurie in the near future to see the stock and meet the team.”
