Intoco is one of Europe’s largest independent stockholders and distributors of highperformance and speciality steels, carrying in excess of £18m round bar and plate.

Founded in 1972, and celebrating its 50th anniversary, innovation and expertise is certainly at the core of everything Intoco is as a company. As one of Europe’s leading stockholders of specialist stainless steels, nickel alloys and hot-work tool steels, Intoco offers the most up to date specifications to cover the oil and gas industry standards and approvals.

Over the past 50 years, the company has earned a formidable reputation. Intoco’s quality, knowledge and service has given us a worldwide footprint with customers returning time and time again as their preferred supplier.

As the demands of our modern-day steel industry become ever more challenging, Intoco has proven that they are able to adapt to these changing economical climates, using their collective 100+ years of knowledge and expertise and listening to their customers’ needs and challenges.

The business currently holds around £18m in special steels stock (and increasing) to ensure that they are able to supply the ever-increasing international customer base in a timely manner.

Due to recent worldwide events, stock availability of raw material is in very short supply within all industries. Intoco did pre-empt the fluctuating market, and through garnered knowledge and expertise continued to purchase material, increase grades and ranges where other suppliers have not.

By taking these calculated decisions Intoco are now ideally placed to support our customers long into the future.
