Another successful BVAA Regional Dinner and Supplier Day!

The BVAA hosted its annual Regional Dinner on 28 February and a Supplier Day event on 1 March at the Holiday Inn, Brighouse. This exceptionally popular event provides plenty of opportunities for suppliers and buyers from the valve and actuator supply chain to meet up, display their offering and network.

The Regional Dinner was extremely well attended, with members and non-members socialising over a few drinks and dinner, before being entertained by this year’s excellent comedian, Emmanuel Sonubi.

The next morning is Supplier Day, which is where the real work starts…with a large room full of exhibitors, eight OEM hosts and over 120 speed date/meetings all taking place in over just 3 hours! It really is a hugely enjoyable and time-efficient event, helping industry customers and suppliers to strengthen existing relationships and create new ones.

Special thanks to this year’s hosts:

  • Worley
  • Score Europe
  • Cameron SLB
  • KOSO Kent Introl
  • Harbour Energy
  • KT Hydraulics
  • Severn
  • Emerson

…and this year’s sponsor Corrosion Resistant Materials.

Interested in attending a future Regional Dinner and Supplier Day?

If you are part of the supply chain for the Valve and Actuator industry, or are interested in purchasing materials and components, then this event is one not to be missed.

Many members comment that there is currently nothing like this event in industry, and how valuable it is compared with big trade shows. This type of networking offers an avenue to create long term relationships, a trade of ideas and mutual trust which can often only be achieved from BVAA meetings.

Don’t just take our word for it… this year’s video gives you a great insight as to why our members and hosts come back each year!
