Bestobell Valves Launch New Fire Safe LNG/LPG Globe Valves

Bestobell Valves, leading manufacturer of cryogenic valves, has extended its product range to include a new LNG/LPG globe valve, fire tested and certified to EN ISO 10497:2004 and designed in accordance with BS EN ISO 12567:2000.

With the ongoing development of the LNG supply chain, more and more small to medium scale LNG dispensing systems will come online. These systems will provide downstream LNG for the production of CNG, fuelling and small to medium gas usage.

In response to this, and using the knowledge and experience gained by our sister business Bestobell LNG in manufacturing fire-safe cryogenic valves for the upstream LNG industry over the last 10 years, Bestobell Valves has developed the ‘CNL’ range to meet the technical requirement and suitability for these systems. It is fully compliant with the legislation and specification for the design, installation and commissioning of these stations.

This new line is available in sizes DN6 – DN300 (1/4" – 12") and incorporates an anti blow out spindle, anti liquid lock drain and the unique Bestobell loose flange bolted bonnet design which allows for thermal expansion and contraction and eliminates leakage at the bonnet gasket.

Supplied as standard with butt weld ends, the valve has a metal to metal seat design which gives a tight shut off for zero leakage. Other options are available on request including automation and control.
