Cameron ball valves will be used in a pipeline across China

Cameron has announced an agreement with CNPC, China’s Largest Oil and Gas producer and supplier, to establish a joint venture for the manufacture of pipeline ball valves mainly for use by CNPC to support its plans to build pipeline across China in the coming decades.

Under the terms of agreement, Cameron will license its technology to the joint venture and establish a full scale manufacturing operation in Tianjin, China, with CNPC Bohai Equipment Manufacturing Co. Ltd. This joint venture will be the exclusive pipeline valve manufacturing entity within CNPC.

Cameron brings over a half century of valve design and manufacturing experience for the oil and gas industry to this joint venture with CNPC.

Cameron is a leading provider of flow equipment products, systems and services to worldwide oil, gas and process industries. The Valves & Measurement business segment designs and manufactures API 6D valves and valve automation products specifically for the drilling, production, processing and industrial markets.
