Score (Europe) Limited expands support for South of England

The new facility will provide a range of valve, actuator and associated services to clients in the South of England
The team at the facility will provide workshop valve & actuator overhauls and PSV servicing as well as on-site support for Score Europe’s customers in the south of England. In addition, the Southampton team will be able to call on Score Europe’s considerable resources to provide engineering, manufacturing and procurement back-up as well as personnel for on-site support during larger turnarounds, outages and commissioning projects.
Ally Marshall, Deputy Managing Director of Score Europe Limited said: “The new facility brings us closer to some very important customers in the south of England, enabling us to provide them with rapid assistance on-site whenever required and with quick turnaround of safety valves through the workshop facility. The team working at the new workshop are experienced, multi-skilled and have the support of specialist personnel at our Brighouse and Peterhead facilities. We also look forward to giving the opportunity to some young people to join our engineering apprenticeship programme.
The last 12 months have seen us invest heavily into our service provision in England and our customers are really starting to see the benefits of that investment. We can see the demand from customers in south England and know that we will have even more interest when others have seen what Score Europe has to offer them.”
The Southampton facility will also act as a regional base for personnel providing Score Europe’s range of on-site services which include joint integrity management, on-site machining, small bore tubing support and fugitive emissions testing. The Score Onsite Services team provide multi-discipline support across this range of services for up and downstream facilities within the UK, mainland Europe and the Middle East using ECITB tested technicians.
Mr Marshall believes this new facility will bring Score ever closer to the expanding client base in England, “Since opening the workshop in Humberside we’ve provided multi-discipline support to customers in the area during planned outages.
These customers really feel the benefit of working with a contractor which is able to handle entire work scopes, from rigging to in-situ valve repair, to on-site machining, saving them time and keeping costs down. We really look forward to providing these services from our Southampton base.”
