UK Metals Expo 2022

The inaugural UK Metals Expo held on the 14^th and 15^th September at the NEC Birmingham was well attended by BVAA members.

Exhibiting members Broder Metals and Corrosion Resistant Materials were joined by visiting members including amongst others Gee Graphite, Langley Alloys, Neo Nickel, International Energy Products and Intoco.

UK Metals Expo is a new event bringing the entire metals supply chain together with the engineering and manufacturing sector. In total around 90 exhibitors came together for two full days which included a very active and worthwhile conference programme.

One of the aims of the show was to put the UK Metals industry at the forefront of industry and to allow manufacturers, including those of Valves and Actuators, the chance to build on their supply chain and speak to new material suppliers. Given the recent Supply Chain issues most manufacturers have been feeling, this was the ideal time for the event.

The next edition will be 13^th-14^th September 2023, so if you didn’t pop along this time, make sure it is in your calendar for next year.
