GEMÜ is striving to establish itself as the valve manufacturer of choice in the growing hydrogen production and transformation (Power-to-X) market. GEMÜ manufactures a wide range of valves, measurement and control systems for applications in hydrogen production, from water treatment, electrolysis, gas treatment, power-to-liquid and other supporting processes.

Hydrogen shows a high diffusion in many materials, in some alloys this can lead to hydrogen embrittlement at high temperatures. Thanks to our comprehensive range of products and expertise, GEMÜ can offer valves and seals that are suitable for use with up to 100% hydrogen.

Further to this, hydrogen is the element with the smallest molecular size, therefore, the tightness of the entire valve becomes an important parameter in hydrogen applications. Our valves are tested for leak tightness for fugitive emissions according to DIN EN ISO 15848-1 (TA-Luft).
