Pictured are members of the BVAA Future Leaders Programme (Cohort 2) on their recent team-building exercise in the Yorkshire Dales (UK).

An assortment of wrist-wear and gadgets could not reach consensus on the actual distance walked, but something in the region of 12~14 miles were ‘yomped’ across the Yorkshire Dales in and around Grassington, Wharfedale.
N.B. The BVAA Director’s estimate of the distance-travelled being ‘forever’ has been disregarded as an outlier.

The weather was rather unkind in the early stages (we were on outer fringes of Storm ‘Ali’).

We survived a low-intensity animal attack and inadvertently wandering into a partridge shoot. We even managed to take in a few engineering marvels along the way.

On a more serious note, it is clear that the bonds formed while on the ‘FLP’ are very strong, with life-long relationships and excellent networks a real benefit for employers.

Our thanks to our Personal Development consultant, Dr Martin Haigh MBE and Lattitude7, for the photos and the organisation of the exercise.
