Well John Grant, Regional Service Sales Manager Europe for Cameron, went over 40 miles. He undertook the Etape Caledonia event on the 19th September 2021. Etape Caledonia is a mass participation cycling event that has attracted more than 35,000 people since it debuted in 2007.
The event attracts riders from all over the country to take on one of the most breath-taking rides through the spectacular Scottish Highlands.
John was able to complete the course in a time of 2 hours 48 minutes and 2 seconds. The total elevation gain over the 40 miles was 3,278ft so a lot of up and some downhill sections.
His efforts have managed to raise donations of £822 for the Scottish Charity Air Ambulance.
