More approvals, more choice

SIL approval is the latest certification that has been attributed to the range, adding to ATEX, IEC, CE, CSA, EAC and RINA accreditation, and is another reason why the APL range continues to set the standard for switchboxes and controls. 

With seven different APL switchboxes currently available - starting with the competitive aluminium bodied APL2 and extending to the ATEX approved APL7 with integral solenoid valve – the APL range offers a comprehensive solution for all valve automation projects; whatever the level of complexity. 

Higher specification, lower costs

But high specification doesn’t mean high cost. The APL7 can offer a cost-effective solution when compared to a standard switchbox with a separate solenoid valve as only one cable and gland is required. This can reduce costs significantly in systems where multiple actuated valves are used.

The APL range is available with a wide choice of options including stainless steel housing, explosion proof or intrinsically safe certification, along with many different switches and sensors. All switchboxes are designed and built to extremely high standards by leading Korean manufacturer, HKC and are supplied with beacon indicators and stainless-steel Namur brackets as standard.
