AV Actuators at Valve World Expo 2024
BVAA Group Stand Hall 1, D31
AVA will once again showcase its extensive solutions through its range of compact, feature rich electric actuators at this year’s Valve World exhibition in Germany. Exhibiting now since 2016, AVA will once again join Allvalves, as members of the AV Global Group, as part of the BVAA Group stand.
AVA has continued to develop its products throughout 2024, this includes investment in new products, new approvals and certification and as always, the team. During the exhibition, customers will learn about the increased torque output now available, new flow monitoring solutions and hazardous area approvals.
AVA has now increased its torque capabilities from the original 10Nm to 400Nm, to now offer 1000Nm and 2000Nm torque outputs. The new compact, yet very robust 1000/2000 Series will offer a new motor drive system that will pave the way for a second generation of actuators to come over the coming years. A new design that perfectly allows for high speed high torque, enabling a new generation of multi turn actuators to follow. The 1000/2000 Series will have plug and play conversion of Failsafe, Modulating and BUS communication functionality. The actuator is lightweight in comparison to the industry standard at just 15Kg and operates swiftly in just 25 seconds. The new LED ring for visual indication, internal sensors and other technology will make this a market leader.
In addition to this new series, the team have also developed a new FM Series for flow monitoring. The new actuator uses a combination of temperature, flow sensors that directly feed into the actuator to self-calibrate and control its position to achieve a desired flow rate. As a serious alternative to a traditional control valve, utilizing a characterized valve design, the actuator can e calibrated via our own App to set the desired flow rates. AVA have now officially started the process to work with a US test laboratory to approve our EX Series to all the global standards for hazardous use. ATEX, UL, CSA and IECEX will all be covered in the new certification and approval. Expected to complete for January 2025.
Finally, AVA have now expanded its sales and support into Asia to support this territory and have new distribution partners in Spain, Asia, USA and more. A new website will also launch. As always, it’s all systems go at AVA.
