The Summit organisers, in collaboration with BVAA*, will be setting up a special UK Pavilion for British companies to take the lead in meeting key industry players.

The countdown to IVS – Industrial Valve Summit, the international exhibition dedicated to industrial valves and flow control solutions, has begun. The sixth edition of the eagerly awaited event, scheduled from May 19th to 21st 2026, at Bergamo Exhibition Centre, Italy, is just a year away.

To mark this milestone, the bond between the event and the UK will be further consolidated. Thanks to the close collaboration between the organisers and BVAA, the Industrial Valve Summit is pleased to announce that the United Kingdom will be IVS 2026 Guest Country. A special UK Pavilion will be set up, where British companies are given a front row seat, to meet key industry players and establish new connections, with the aim of boosting business development.

The organisers presented the Scientific Committee and the guidelines of IVS 2026 scientific programme. Thanks to the valuable collaboration of VALVEcampus, the association of industrial valve manufacturers for training, the Summit will further increase the quality of conferences and roundtables. The event is the benchmark place where change is interpreted and the latest technological innovations are explored, delving into the challenges of the sector and future scenarios.

The scientific programme is structured around six themes: Standardization and standards development; Digital technologies applied to valves, actuation and control; Valve design and materials for severe services; Advanced sealing solutions for industrial valves; AI applied to mechanical design, procurement and manufacturing; Additive manufacturing.

In addition to being a meeting point for opinion and market leaders, IVS takes place in Bergamo: The Italian valve capital (90% of the national production is located within 60 miles from the province).

The city combines great liveability with a people-friendly dimension: a centre of great architectural beauty to take a walk and relax at the end of the day. The fairground and the centre will be connected by a dedicated free shuttle service. “Città Alta”, the ancient core of the medieval upper town with Roman origins, surrounded by walls, is easily accessible by two funiculars.

The city also offers museums, art galleries, theatres and is surrounded by lakes, mountains and plains. A high level of gastronomy combined with a lively food and wine tradition: IVS gala dinner, hosted by a 3 Michelin-starred restaurant, will showcase this combination.

Also, for this edition, the "Bergamo valve week" will be closed by the exclusive IVS invitational golf tournament. The magnificent golf course "L'Albenza” Golf Club, in Bergamo, awaits IVS guests: 27 holes of high-quality technical design, masterfully crafted by the renowned English architects Cotton&Sutton.

Through Milan Bergamo Airport (BGY), the town is connected to around 150 international destination, nine UK airports (London Stansted, Birmingham, Bristol, East Midlands, Manchester, Liverpool, Newcastle, Edinburgh and Belfast) and 4 airports in Ireland (Dublin, Cork, Knock, Shannon Town). What’s more, Bergamo is less than an hour from Milan. A combination of successful ingredients that makes the Industrial Valve Summit an ‘A Class exhibition’.
