BVAA: Business Development Event
We had the third installment of the informative and engaging business development event last Wednesday for an hour over the lunchtime period. The session included a fantastic talk by guest speaker Claire Cahill of Accendo Coaching & Training.
Claire is a qualified and award-winning Executive Confidence & Leadership Coach based in Chesterfield, Derbyshire. Her company was founded in 2012 and she works with CEOs, Senior Leaders and their leadership teams to build their leadership skills through coaching conversations and training programmes. A published author since 2016, she uses the material from her book Empowering Employee Engagement – How to ignite your team for peak performance to ignite and empower employees’ potential to be their best selves.
This was then followed by two interesting behind-the-scenes tours from BVAA member companies Hobbs and Maher followed by live Q&A.
There was also an informal networking session with fellow BVAA members and attendees.
This offers an excellent opportunity to maximise your networking potential.
The next in the series will be taking place on the 26th May. As well as some more factory tours (to be announced), we will also have guest speaker Jules White. Jules is an International Sales Coach with over 30 years of business and sales experience.
Her ‘Live it Love it Sell it’ methodology helps passionate entrepreneurs and businesses get clarity on their ‘why’ and learn how to sell in an authentic human way that creates amazing results without the need for pushy sales techniques or any questionable tactics.
She brings great experience with her talks having won investment in the Dragons’ Den from Peter Jones for her business ‘Truly Madly Baby’ – the reason she is known as the ‘real dragon slayer!’
She is an International Inspirational Sales Speaker where she talks about ‘Putting HUMANITY back into sales’ and her TEDx talk, to 1500 people at Europe’s biggest TEDx in Brighton, focused on there being ‘no such word as can’t’. Inspiring everyone to know that you can do whatever you want to. A legacy given to her by her father who she lost in 2015.
This will be a free digital event for our members which will again be delivered via Zoom and include opportunities for interaction throughout. Please email laura@bvaa.org.uk for more information.
