Nuclear Supply Chain Event Dunblane

The BVAA attended the ‘Meet the Buyer’ Nuclear Supply Chain Event which was held at the Dunblane Hydro Hotel, on Thursday, 2nd December. The event kicked off with a series of short presentations hosted by the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA), Scottish Enterprise, Scottish Development International and other key organisations.

The presentations aimed to explain how suppliers can successfully engage with the nuclear sector by understanding it’s needs and provided information about where to capture business opportunities in the future. It proved to be a busy event offering fantastic opportunities for networking.

The nuclear market represents billions of pounds in Scotland alone and is part of a huge market across the UK and internationally. Pictured above is BVAA Business consultant Rob Boycott who was there to meet and greet stand visitors and participate in the one-to-ones.
