Manufactured Products are supplied in various material grades, with full material traceability, including mild steel and stainless steel 304 and 316. Our ISO9001:2015 Quality Management accreditation ensures all manufactured parts are to the same exacting standards as laid down in our QMS.

Our team of experienced, trained engineers mentor new colleagues, training them on the job to our exacting standards. Our welders are also dual coded to ASME IX and BSEN 15614.

Design Processes

Modification of Existing Drawings

Our design engineers quickly assess when an existing drawing (paper-based or a Solid Edge design) can be modified to suit the information received. This method means only a small number of dimensions will require changing, and as part of our ISO9001:2015 standard, another engineer will check the design is correct prior to issuing to the shop floor.

Valve-Kits ‘Prokits’ Program

Exclusively available to Valve-Kits, ‘Prokits’ is a vast database that has been created over the years from datasheets of hundreds of thousands of valves and actuators. The engineer selects the valve and actuator combination, enters the material requirements, and with one click of a button, the program generates the drawing using Solid Edge. From this, a 3D model, fastener sheet and BOM are produced.

Full Project Specific Design

This is a more bespoke process, in which the design engineer liaises with the customer to ensure all the criteria are met. Design calculations will be produced to validate the design. These calculate the torsional loads applied to the kit by the valve and actuator and ensure the kit’s design has the required safety factor.
