LATTYpack OIL sealing solution offers

Through its LATTYpack OIL, LATTY Group proposes an innovative solution for the Petrochemical industries, in compliance with API 622 and ISO 15848 FE standard

GROUPE LATTY provides the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical industries with a comprehensive range of sealing products that cover the stringent requirements for most applications with significant reduction in operating cost.

In 2016, LATTYpack OIL combined anti-extrusion and die formed rings made from high-purity expanded graphite yarns, developed for severe service valves OEM’s. It provides outstanding sealing efficiency under low clamping force, the lowest friction coefficient and excellent elastic recovery. Since then, the range has evolved and is now also available in packing roll for fast maintenance at end user production line.

In 2022, LATTYpack OIL packing in roll is made of expanded graphite with Inconel reinforcement with a graphite mix and doped with a friction reducing agent. It contains passive corrosion inhibitors that provide unlimited stem protection.

Another evolution is the compliance of LATTYpack OIL with API 622 which offers significant reduction in operating costs. Being also compliant with ISO 15848 class BH both with API 624 for fugitive emissions, LATTYpack OIL’s advantages are:

Performance:

• 0% of corrosion to the stems
• Low leak rate: combine ISO 15848 and 622 3^rd edition compliance
• Friction reduced by 30%

Reliability & safety:

• Low emission performance at 6000 PSI/40 MPa stress only
• API 589 and API 607 fire safe approved
• MAX 0,5% PTFE Content (API 622 test)

Capability:

• -200°C to 450°C (840F) in oxygenated environment
• Up to 450 bar (6500Psi)
• PH 0 to 14
