BVAA Annual Meetings and Gala Ball 2022
‘Wow!’
This was the word on everyone’s lips in reaction to this year’s annual gatherings at Carden Park, Chester.
BVAA really hit the after-burners this year, and hosted the second-largest get together of members ever for our annual sessions.
After an excellent mini-conference session in the morning, which culminated in a truly magnificent presentation from our latest Future Leaders, BVAA members had the opportunity to enjoy the hotel’s superb facilities while Sophie Keene’s teams of experts transformed the room into a spectacular circus-themed wonder.
First however, we had awards to present:
- Recipient of the BVAA’s Champion Award was our excellent and constantly hard-working Technical Consultant, Peter Dix.
- This was followed by the Future Leaders Cohort 5 awards.
- The Greenhalgh Shield – our occasional award to Future Leaders who have continued to demonstrate their professional development – was awarded to Cohort 1 alumna Elizabeth Waterman (PDL).
- Finally the award of the exclusive BVAA golden cufflinks went to BVAA’s outgoing Chairman, Mr Colin Findlay.
The surprises kept coming though, with the superb and highly unusual LED Tron dance troup (more ‘wows!’) and the evening was thoroughly rounded off to the sounds of Fully Funktional and some very enthusiastic dancing from our energetic younger contingent.
