ARI provides an all-round package

Matching control valves, selectable actuator types and digital offers

As an innovative manufacturer of heavy duty valves for various industries, ARI is continuously expanding and rounding off its product portfolio. One example is the STEVI® control valve product group. In addition to STEVI® Smart, the standard control valve for universal applications and STEVI® Vario (series 448/449), the variable compact control valve for universal tasks, the STEVI® Pro is recommended for demanding and critical applications. The STEVI® Pro is now also available in the 470 series in pressure ratings PN 64 to PN 160 as well as ANSI Class 600. It is manufactured in cast steel and stainless-steel body materials.

The fact that ARI wants to offer its customers an all-round package is demonstrated, amongst other things, by the first digital electro-pneumatic positioner manufactured by the company: STEVI-POS®. The digital positioner is attached to the control valve via a NAMUR interface. It is characterised by simple operation and low maintenance thanks to an economical piezo technology and reliable operation. The latter is achieved, for example, by a non-contact stroke detection. It guarantees precise control even under difficult conditions and enables wear-free operation.

Alternatively, customers can choose an electric actuator with the PREMIO®-Plus 2G. Unlike the pneumatic DP actuators, which are particularly recommended for pressure control of gaseous, compressible media due to their fast response time, the PREMIO®-Plus 2G is frequently used for temperature control of liquid, incompressible media. The intelligent linear actuator is digital, reliable and versatile. It sometimes offers selectable positioning speeds and displays diagnostics and status messages. The optional communication package includes a Bluetooth module, LED status indicator and position transmitter.

This additional package offers the possibility to query and control the actuator via the ARI app myPREMIO. This provides the customer with many additional features. In addition to status information, statistics, event logs and trend curves, histograms can be called up. They provide information about the settings of the actuator as well as error messages. And in addition: ARI experts are available to the customer for quick and uncomplicated remote diagnosis, thus providing direct service.

The myPREMIO app is one of the digital offerings that customers can benefit from at ARI. It also includes the myARI service and information portal, which is available to customers 24/7. It gives them insights into order and delivery status as well as order documents and offers, amongst other things, a simple registration of returned goods or repairs. Registered users also have access to the online version of the valve sizing program myValve. This allows direct design of a wide range of valves without prior software installation.
