As long-term readers of Valveuser will know; Heap & Partners Ltd was founded in 1866 and so has been doing business for 158 years. What most people don’t realise is that they started out life as a partnership, not a limited company. This year they celebrated 100 years of being a limited company as Heap & Partners Limited was created on the 19^th of March 1924.

So, to help mark the occasion they thought it appropriate to launch their on-line e-commerce solution Heaps 24/7, just to show they’re not standing still. Of course, they have a wide range of brands available ex-stock including Phase hygienic diaphragm valves, Saunders industrial diaphragm valves, Parker instrumentation, KTM ball valves, Phase check valves, Keystone butterfly valves and Fisher regulators & positioners, with more to follow. More importantly, the site allows customers to register and log in to not only enjoy their credit terms and discounts, but also to be able to view and progress all their orders – both web shop placed orders and none web shop orders, because the system links live to Heaps main servers.

Heap & Partners will be attending this year’s ChemUK in Birmingham where they will be launching a further extension to their Phase range of hygienic diaphragm valves. Alongside their two way bodies, they will be unveiling block bodies and tank bottom valves which have already been supplied into some of the UK’s pharmaceutical giants. The Phase range has been designed to be fully interchangeable with the Saunders HC4® range. So, a Phase body could be combined with a Saunders diaphragm and bonnet, or a Saunders body could be retro fitted with a Phase Actuator. This gives customers full flexibility on change outs with the complete unit guaranteed by Heap & Partners Ltd.

Previously, at ChemUK, Heaps launched their LC Actuator for their hygienic range. Following that successful launch, Heaps have since shipped LC Actuators out to Europe, the Middle East, the Americas & Austral-Asia.
