Langley Alloys have been responsible for the development and commercialisation of several leading alloys since our creation in 1938. These include the world’s first commercialised super duplex stainless steel to the highest strength copper nickel alloys.

These days, we operate as a specialist distributor, having built long-term relationships with the worlds most respected steel mills to provide our customers with the best choice of corrosion resistant alloys. Our portfolio of alloys now extends to the following grades:

  • Duplex and Super Duplex Stainless (Ferralium 255, 32750, 32760, 2205)
  • Nickel Alloys (718, 625, 725, 825, 925, K500)
  • Stainless Steels (Nit 50, Nit 60, Super 13Cr)
  • Copper Alloys (Hiduron 130/191, Hidurel 5)

Our portfolio of alloys are typically of high-strength and provide excellent corrosion resistance in aggressive environments. They are widely utilised in the manufacture of valves, including valve bodies, stems and trim. Common applications of our alloys will include:

  • PetroChemical processing and fertiliser production
  • Desalination plants and water treatment
  • Energy generation
  • Oil & Gas production
  • Mining
  • Cryogenics
  • Pulp and paper manufacture
  • Marine and Naval applications
  • Polution control including exhaust gas cleaning systems
