T-T Flow Supply Gate Valves to World-Renowned Cider Brand

Established in the 1880s and acquired by multi-national brewing giant Heineken in 2008, Bulmers is one of the best-known cider brands in the world.

During scheduled upgrade works to their historic Hereford-based factory’s water supply pipelines, T-T Flow were bought in to specify and supply isolating gate valves.

Reliable, leak-free sealing was a top priority for the drinks manufacturer, requiring high accuracy flow isolation to ensure the quality of their cider production.

On the same day our team received the relevant site information, T-T Flow sales engineers specified and dispatched multiple DN100 Aquavault® resilient seat gate valves in keeping with the work’s projected timeline.

The versatile and bi-directional Aquavault® isolation valve was selected for its durable construction and consistent sealing performance.

A high-strength, low-weight ductile iron body with fusion bonded epoxy coating promotes anti-corrosion and low-maintenance needs for a convenient and long-lasting valve; while the Aquavault’s® acetal wedge guides and EPDM rubber encapsulated wedge ensure tight and accurate seating on the valve face.

These resilient seat wedge gate valves feature a full bore and smooth internal profile that facilitate unobstructed flow for maximum hydraulic efficiency within the factory’s system, with third party WRAS approval demonstrating their compliance with relevant UK regulations for safe potable water handling.

Quality Guaranteed

With a unique traceable serial number and backed by T-T's ISO9001 quality management system, T-T Flow valves provide high-quality isolation, flow control and pressure management for a wide range of applications.
