With immediate effect the VDMA Valves Association is to act as a conceptual sponsor of the VALVE WORLD EXPO. In early July representatives of Messe Düsseldorf and VDMA Valves met to seal the official cooperation in writing.

The aim is to further strengthen the VALVE WORLD EXPO as a leading trade fair for the industrial valve industry at the Düsseldorf location, bundle synergies and create joint action plans for the future. Here, the view from Düsseldorf also extends into the world and towards globalisation: because alongside the leading Düsseldorf trade fair international satellites are already in existence in the USA, China, Singapore, India and from 2026 also in Canada.

“With this strategic cooperation Messe Düsseldorf and VDMA Valves bundle their expertise for the industrial valve sector,” rejoices Bernd Jablonowski, Executive Director at Messe Düsseldorf, and adds: “Having VDMA Valves as a strong industry association by our side we want to take the VALVE WORLD EXPO to the next level. Together, we aim to further expand this trade fair as a central meeting point for the sector and as the place to be for the global valves industry on the market,” says Jablonowski.

Having close connections within the industry, VDMA Valves will contribute to make the trade fair even more attractive for both exhibitors and visitors from the complete process industry, their customer sectors and the supply chain.

In this process VDMA Valves will, as a new partner, also provide key impetus and ideas for a future-oriented development of the VALVE WORLD EXPO related to the trending themes of Sustainability, Circular Economy, Digitalisation and Innovations for the valve industry.

“As a mouthpiece for the valve industry towards policymakers and the public we will focus precisely on those topics at the VALVE WORLD EXPO that are of relevance to our members today and in future,” stresses Dr. Laura Dorfer, Managing Director at VDMA Valves: “I am convinced that our cooperation will not only sustainably strengthen the trade fair but also make a key contribution to future-proofing the valve industry in the manufacturing location that is Germany,” she adds.

VALVE WORLD EXPO, the leading trade fair with a two-year cycle, will be held in Halls 1 and 3 of Düsseldorf Fairgrounds from 3 to 5 December 2024. It will be accompanied by the international conference staged by KCI. A high-octane line-up of side events on the stage in Hall 3 encompassing lectures, discussions and the presentation of the Valve Stars Awards by Vulkan Verlag, digital ecoMetals Tours as well as the ecoMetals and High Potentials campaigns will accompany the exhibition activities in the halls.
