ASCO Numatics has expanded its Series 067 range of Rocker Isolation Valves with the introduction of higher pressure ratings and larger nominal diameters. The new solenoid valves have been introduced to meet the demand for fluid isolation valves and are available in 2/2 NC, 2/2 NO and 3/2 universal function. Orifice sizes are 2, 3 and 4mm, and the 22.3mm body valves are suitable for use in vacuum applications and pressure ranges of up to 10 bar. Available with a 1/8" threaded or pad mounted body, they are ideally suited to fluid handling applications in analytical systems. They join the existing line up of Series 067 valves with orifice sizes from 0.58 to 1.35mm.

The Series 067 range comprises 10mm and 22mm wide manifold mount, rocker type, isolation valves designed to control the flow of aggressive chemicals or high purity fluids. The innovative rocker mechanism and low number of moving parts enable an extended operating life and the corrosion-resistant components provide complete isolation of the fluid from the solenoid operator. This design also provides a high level of operational and process safety.

Valve bodies are made of high-quality materials such as PEEK or PSS and the seals of FFPM, FPM and EPDM are suitable for most applications. Good self-draining capabilities and an easy-to-flush internal cavity make the Series 067 valve ideally suited to fluid mixing and dosing applications in the liquid handling sector.

The solenoid system meets DIN 43650, form B and can be supplied with flying leads or spade terminals. All standard AC and DC voltages are available and the power-save electronics reduces holding consumption to 1W.

Suitable for mounting in any position without affecting operation, the pad mount configuration allows for modularisation, which simplifies design, assembly, and service for manufacturers. The Series 067 valve is the perfect choice for clinical, life science, analytical and fluid handling equipment manufacturers with valve applications requiring minimal internal volume, no pumping, and excellent flushing characteristics.
