IVS – Industrial Valve Summit continues to grow
The meeting place par excellence for the valve sector and the entire energy industry.
A successful event with an increasingly international dimension, evidenced by the highest numbers ever recorded in terms of exhibitors and visitors. IVS – Industrial Valve Summit 2024, the most important international event dedicated to the technologies of industrial valves and flow control solutions, established itself as an essential showcase for the entire energy industry.
The fifth edition of the Summit, held from 14th to 16th May 2024 at the Bergamo Exhibition Centre, in Italy, gave the opportunity to multiply the points of contact between the key performers of the supply chain from all over the world.
The success is also a result of the increase in the value of the scientific programme. IVS 2024 offered 52 events including conferences, roundtables, workshops, case studies and laboratories, constituting a plan more than 50% larger than the 34 in-depth technical events of IVS 2022. The organisers boosted the qualitative growth of the event, enlarged the number of appointments and enriched the side events, leading IVS to grow from a two-day exhibition to a full-fledged valve week.
In detail, IVS 2024 closed with a final influx of 15,000 visitors from 69 countries. The international element proved to be in great turmoil, with foreign companies doubling in number compared to the fourth edition and reaching 20% of the total number of exhibitors. The attendance was 25% higher compared to the Summit's fourth edition, when the city of Bergamo attracted 12,000 guests. The protagonists of IVS 2024 were the 325 exhibitors (+13% compared to the 2022 edition) from 14 countries: besides Italy, the companies represented the sectors of Germany, Great Britain, the United States of America, France, Denmark, Spain, the Netherlands, Norway, the United Arab Emirates, South Africa, Turkey, Niger, and the Czech Republic.
In the wake of the excellent results obtained, the organizers of the event, Confindustria Bergamo and Promoberg, already announced that the sixth edition will be held in Bergamo from 19th to 21st May 2026.
The Summit will continue to constitute the benchmark place to meet and interpret change, delving into the latest technological innovations and analysing the challenges of the future.
