After years of dedicated leadership and significant growth, Chris Woodhead, CEO and Owner of the ADVANCED ENGINEERING GROUP, has announced his retirement effective the end of February 2025. This milestone marks the beginning of an exciting new era for the company, poised for innovation and continued success.

Under Chris Woodhead's stewardship for the last 25+ years (starting as ADVANCED ACTUATORS) the recently formed ADVANCED ENGINEERING GROUP has not only thrived but has set the stage for future advancements. Over the past few years, the company has seen remarkable developments, including the in-house development of next generation of ACTUATORS & CONTROLS and strengthened partnerships with industry giants like KAWASAKI PRECISION MACHINERY UK and REGGIANA RIDDUTORI (ITALY).

Moreover, our team has been recently strengthened by the appointment of Jacob Ravn as the new Group Sales Director, bringing a fresh perspective and dynamic approach to our sales strategy.

These achievements have positioned the group for even greater prospects moving forward. To ensure a seamless transition while preserving the core values and unique culture that have defined the success of all group companies, a Management Buyout (MBO) has been put in place as the succession strategy. This approach will maintain the integrity and reputation of the business, allowing it to continue its legacy of excellence.

"We are delighted to announce that Andrew Peace (Managing Director) and Lee Ellerton (Engineering Director) will lead ADVANCED ENGINEERING GROUP into the future," said Chris Woodhead. "Their combined expertise in both commercial and technical aspects, along with their deep understanding of our company, makes them the perfect duo to steer us into the future."

Although retiring from the CEO position, Chris will remain engaged with the company in a consultative capacity to support the transition and ensure the new leadership has all the resources needed for success.

"Retirement is just the beginning of another exciting journey for all companies in the group," Chris Woodhead added. "With Jacob Ravn's recent addition to our team, I am confident that under Andrew and Lee's guidance, the company will not only continue to grow but will also innovate in ways we've only begun to imagine."

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Chris for his visionary leadership and look forward to the future under the new leadership team. ADVANCED ENGINEERING GROUP is set to embrace new opportunities, continue its tradition of innovation & excellence, and expand its customer base worldwide.

We also extend our sincere gratitude to our employees, customers, and partners for their continued support. The relationships we have built and the achievements we have shared over the years have been truly remarkable, and we look forward to an exciting new era of growth and innovation.
