On 8th March, BVAA hosted a joint meeting of the BVAA and BSI Actuators WGs at BVAA HQ, Banbury (UK). Important changes are being proposed to the mounting interface standards ISO 5210 and 5211, and this gave an opportunity for the combined groups to develop a fully-agreed UK position on the proposals. Combined meetings of this type have a common agenda and save both organisations time, and also ensure members only have to attend a single meeting on the topics. A similar arrangement for Valves WGs was utilised in December 2010.
