The inaugural BVAA ‘Grand Prix’ took place on January 25th 2012, as a precursor to a BVAA Working Group Chairmens’ meeting at the association’s Banbury Headquarters. In a hugely entertaining race, which quite clearly warranted serious handicapping, new Valve Working Group Chair, Peter Burnett (Heaps) took the honours, with messers Bartlett and Kettle sharing the podium.

The following Chair’s meeting was to re-energise and re-focus the Association’s technical and commercial Conferences Programme – look out for further announcements in the coming issues. If you have a technical or commercial paper you think would be of interest to the valve industry and customer base, contact rob@bvaa.org.uk.
